What Is a TV Card

A TV tuner card lets you record and play TV programs on your computer. This means that you can watch your favorite TV program on your computer screen as many times as you want, whenever you want.

What Do CK Technical Services Do ?

1. Shudown PC & disconnect all cables
2. Remove the cover on the PC
3. Identify a free PCI slot & Install the card
4. Replace the cover.
5. Plug all the cables back into the case. (Monitor, keyboard, mouse, AC power plug, etc.)
6. Power on the PC and install drivers for your new Card.
7. Install any software that came with the Capture Card from the installation CD. (For example, Nero to capture video and burn DVDs, or Beyond TV, if the Capture Card has DVR functionality.
8. Connect either a Cable, Satellite or Over-The-Air Antenna to the inputs on the Capture Card (Coaxial, S-Video, Composite or Component cables).
9. Power the PC back on, start up the Capture software, and you should be ready to start capturing TV and/or Video.

Other Information

We can source the parts for this proceedure (available on request for a small cost).
However It is assumed that the TV Card, Antenna, software and connection cables will be supplied by you prior to our arrival.
