What Is File Transfer & when is it used ?

File transfer is the movement of one or more files from one location to another. This proceedure is most commonly performed when either backing up your PC or upgrading the OS or hardware, where you wish to retain your personal files.

What Do CK Technical Services Do ?

1. Help you identify the files you wish to transfer.
2. Advise on the transfer method to be used.
3. Do a temporary backup of your data before the transfer takes place.
4. Transfer the data.
5. Ensure the integrity of the data after transfer.

Other Information

We provide the equipment to complete this proceedure as a one off, however should you require multiple transfers, say for implementation of a daily data backup routine, we can offer a solution and source the parts for a small additonal cost.
Standard cost is £30.00, although discounts may be available .
